It is true that love is blind. When you are in love with someone, you view them with “Rose Colored Glasses”. In other words, you see them differently than other people do. This is why you do not have to be a god or goddess to attract to you the love of your life.

The perfect example of this is former first Lady Jacqueline Kennedy, who, after becoming widowed, later met and fell in love with Aristotle Onassis. It is true, he did have bundles of money, but as far as appearance was concerned, he was definitely not a Greek God. The same example goes for the beautiful actress Sophia Loren, who fell in love with and married a short, balding, rotund older man, plainly unattractive to most women and 22 years her senior, Carlo Ponti. So, what was his secret?

If you ask women the number one quality that they look for in a man, the majority will tell you it is his sense of humor and the ability to make her laugh. Of course, along with a great wit, it also helps that he is clean, well dressed and has the financial ability to take her out to nice places once in awhile. But the number one thing on most women’s list when looking for that special someone to settle down is a sense of humor. Laughter tells her that this man is genuine, positive and in tune with the ups and downs of every day life. Having a sense of humor also tells her that he looks at the world positively as in the glass half full instead of half empty.

Yes, ladies, it is your beautiful smile that attracts a man. Most women are under the assumption that men are attracted to their sexy, low cut dress or their expensive shoes or purse. But that is not the case. Your beautiful smile tells him that you are a kind, happy and positive person. It also will tell him that you are fun loving and accepting.
