Casinos are in business to do one thing, make money. Everything about the casino
is designed to make money. Even giving away free money to entice you to come
down, is a small investment for them to make more money. They figure that
giving out money will get you to come down, gamble the amount they gave you and
then you will also gamble some more. All the choices of food they offer is so
you don't feel the need to leave the casino to go eat, and then that gives you
more time to gamble there. Everything within a casino is created to separate
you from your money.

Using ATMs in a Casino
A huge mistake someone can make in a casino is using the ATM machine. An ATM
machine in a casino will accept just about every bank card, as well as all
major credit cards to make sure people have access to more money to gamble.
Because money is the primary product in the casino, ATMs (and ultimately the
banks that sponsor the ATMs) can charge any kind of fee on the service of
giving you the convenience of getting money. In the casino this amount is
large. It is because the demand for money in a casino is so much greater, and
there is little competition. You are stuck paying the large fees if you run out
of money.
"Use My Bank" in the Casino
Sometimes, you can get lucky, and the bank sponsoring an ATM in the casino will
be your bank. Usually, the fee won't be charged to a member of that bank. But
be careful. Just because your bank doesn't charge a fee, doesn't mean a fee
won't be charged to you. There are many hidden costs using an ATM, and you can
bet it it's allowed, a casino will charge a fee to you to use the ATM. That is
why casinos that use your bank for ATMs, still might charge a fee.
